Proforma Plus v3.6a Software Update
Instructions:
1 Determine your current version of Proforma Plus...  When you first run proforma plus, the welcome screen will display the version number.
2 Download the correct update for the version that you have.  You can either save it to your computer (i.e. your Desktop) or execute (run) it right from here.
- If your version number is 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 or 3.5, download THIS update.
- If your version number contains a Y, i.e. v.Y, then download THIS update.
3 Execute the downloaded file (if you saved it to your computer, double-click it.  If you ran it right from the web browser, it should be running already).  The self-extractor welcome screen will appear, displaying the version of the update to be applied.  Ensure that you are applying the correct update version.  Click OK when ready to proceed.
4 The next screen displays the location where the update will be extracted.
- If  you are running Proforma Plus from the default installation folder,
for v3.x - "C:\Program Files\Proforma Plus V3\"
for vY.x - "C:\Program Files\Proforma Plus VY\"
then you do not need to change the path, simply proceed to the next step.
- If your Proforma Plus installation is running in a network environment, i.e. off of a server, on a terminal server, being shared from a central PC, etc., you must determine the correct location of the main program file "proformaplus.exe"  before continuing.  Consult your IT Dept. or computer person.  Once determined, type in that location before continuing to the next step.

**NOTE** One way to determine the location is to right-click the shortcut that you use to run Proforma Plus and select properties.  The "shortcut" tab should have a field named "Target" which will show the location of proformaplus.exe.

**NOTE** Many server environments impose security restrictions on files.  You must have the permissions to overwrite the proformaplus.exe file.  If an error occurs, have an administrator or a user with rights apply the update.
5 Once the correct location has been entered, click the "Unzip" button.  This will extract and overwrite the existing proformaplus.exe with the new one.  You can close the self-extractor when finished.
6 Test the update by launching Proforma Plus and taking note of the version number on the main welcome screen.  The version number should now show v3.6 or vY.6, depending on which edition of Proforma Plus you are using.
